Hello! Thank you for considering Rise & Shine Speech and Language to assist with your child's speech and language development!

I have been a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist for 12 years and am the founder of Rise & Shine Speech and Language. I am also a proud alumna of Texas Woman's University, where I earned my M.S. in Communicative Sciences and Disorders, and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, where I earned my B.A. in English with a minor in Christian Studies. I grew up in San Antonio, TX.

I have practiced speech pathology in multiple settings, including schools, home health, ECI, and in-patient rehabilitation hospitals. I am a certified member of the American Speech-Hearing Association (ASHA) and have worked with children of all ages who have a variety of disorders, including autism, downs syndrome, rett syndrome, language disorders, articulation disorders, and fluency disorders. I am currently licensed to practice speech pathology in Texas.

I love spending time with my husband and three children. We like to spend time outdoors exploring nature (we love the river and lake!) and traveling to the mountains for some cooler weather.
